Episode 27: Why listening to your body & owning your narrative matters.

With special guest and lymphoma survivor Jessica Johnston

In this episode, we talk to Jessica Johnston, a Wheeling native,  40 year old wife, mother, spa industry expert, wellness coach, entrepreneur, and lymphoma survivor, on how she tackled lymphoma with a lot of support from family, a positive mindset, and the mantra faith over fear.  She takes us through her journey leading up to her diagnosis (which is a lesson on being your own advocate and knowing your body) and how she continues to grow herself by focusing on a healthy mind and body.  She also describes how she controlled the narrative during her diagnosis and removed the word cancer from her vocabulary.  Jessica focuses now on helping women regain control of their life by creating a healthy lifestyle. This is a must listen with great pieces of information that will help us all.
